The Organization

What is the Organization?

It is the process of establishing a series of rules, methods and principles that coordinate the means available to the company and thus achieve the objectives proposed in planning.

Whithin the organization we find a series of principles that are:
      1- Control Unit: each subordinate has a unique superior.
      2- Control Section: number of people who are directed effectively, between (5/6).
      3- Delegation Principle: can not make all decisions, so delegate charges to others.
      4- Divison of Work: they specialice in a specific task.
      5- Hierarchy and Authority: has de right to direct a group of people, establishing an order from greater to lesser authority.

Next we are going to see the Elements of the Organization.

     1- Strategic Apice: is constituted by the top management.
     2- Operations Core: composed of the members of the organization.
     3- Middle Line: the middle managers in charge of directly supervising the workers.
     4- Units of Supports: provide assistance to the company without belonging to it.
     5- Technostructure: plan and control without belonging to the company.

Within the Organization we can find two types:

     1- Formal Organization: It is based on professional relationships, use communications channels, the objetives are specific to the company.
     2- Informal Organization: It is bases on relationships for particular interests, communications channels are informal.

When it comes to representing a graph of the business structure in which we shape the organizational units and the relationships between the, it is called Organigrama.
We can find different types of flow charts, such as:

     Vertical, Horizontal, Radial, Informative, the Personal, Structural...

 


Another very important point in the organization are the Organizational Structures. We classify them into two categories, classic and modern.

      1- Classic:Are the traditional, hierarchical, functional and mixed.
     
 



     2- Modern: They are characterized by the flexibility they present, matrix, clover and network.
